Artist in Residence

Kirill Burlov and Lucy were given a residency at the 2017 ACTS REACTS festival at Wimbledon College of Arts, UAL. This week remains a special moment for Lucy as a time of complete immersion in drawing in a multi-layered performance space with an international group of collaborators.

Amongst other things they projected her drawings and discussed the word LINE, exploring its meaning in the light of the recent Brexit vote, before performing a piece in which audience members were contained by drawn lines and borders on the floor. Making work that interrogates lines that can, or cannot, be crossed continues to be important to them both.
